A song about birthdays, the passing seasons, the people who share our lives, and celebrating another year of memories still waiting to be made.

I wrote FROM STARS TO YOUR NAME for my grandson Malthe’s confirmation — not as a traditional speech, but as a song for him.
From the little boy who arrived as though the world had to adjust around him, to the young man standing at the beginning of his own journey, this is my celebration of his laughter, warmth, strength, and everything that makes him Malthe.
This isn’t only a song for one special day. It’s something I wanted him to carry with him.
NAMES AND COLOURS
I created this song together with my granddaughter Olivia on a day when she came home feeling hurt by the way other children at school had treated her.
We sat down together and talked about what she was feeling. Olivia described her emotions in colours — red when everything felt bad, yellow when things were somewhere in between, and green when life felt good again.
I took her words, her humour, her hurt, and the way she saw that day through her own eyes, and together we turned them into a song.
This is Olivia’s voice, her colours, and her feelings — put into music.
